Has anyone else experienced problems displaying coloured Attributes in a View in DOORs 9.2?
i.e. I have a multi-enumerated Attribute 'Verification Method' with enumerates:
Test; Inspection; Analysis; Design Review
These are coloured enumerates.
The Verification Method Attribute is multi-valued.
If I add this Attribute to a View, I can't select the usual `Text Color` by right-clicking the Column's Properties as 'Verification Method' Attribute isn't a 'By Attribute' in the drop-down.
If I go back to the Edit Attribute and try and un-tick muti-valued for my Attribute I get the DOORS Gre-Screen-Of-Death on clicking OK ???

The "Text Color By Attribute" feature will only show attributes that have had colors assigned to one or more elements in the enumerated array and are not multi-valued.
I managed to replicate the exception error that you experienced via the following.
Find an attribute that uses an enumerated base type, and the base type has colors assigned to elements.
Edit the attribute definition to make it a multi-valued attribute.
Edit the attribute definition to return it back to a single choice attribute.
Click OK - DOORS exception error is raised.
Noted the following reported fix for version 9.3 which seems related but in my case there were no multiple selections in the first place - I'm using version 9.2 - so this could still be a bug
PM14799 In a module, if there exists a multi-valued attribute that has multiple values assigned for objects within the module, and you remove that multi-valued status, a diagnostic log is displayed.

Thanks Paul.
It looks like they have fixed the inconsistency that Attributes could be chosen to colour another Attribute in a View, but included all Attributes. Now the behaviour is correct as the drop-down only shows coloured single-valued ones. However in the Attribute's own column, the coloured multi-valued Attribute should be selectable to colour the Attribute. This works in version 8.2 and is broken in 9.2.
I will install latest 9.3 to see how it works in that version.
I have submitted a PMR to IBM.

I can confirm IBM have fixed these 2 issues in 9.3.0.5
i.e. if you have a coloured multi-valued enumerated Attribute in a View, you can select the Attribute to colour text ( as it used to work in 8.2 )
In other columns you now can't select a Attribute which is multi-valued to colour the attribute ( correct behaviour ).
The crashing issue has also been fixed so that switching an Attribute between multi-valued and single-valued in the Attribute Definition doesn't crash DOORS when the attribute has been populated as a multi-valued Attribute. defect ID: PM14799 refers.
